About me
I believe in the power of a collaborative therapeutic relationship—one where you are at the center of your healing process. My approach is warm, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. Together, we’ll create a safe space to explore your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences, helping you navigate your journey toward emotional and psychological well-being.
I use evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), along with other approaches, to support you in overcoming challenges and achieving personal growth. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults, as well as supporting LGBTQ+ individuals. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief and loss, interpersonal relationship concerns, substance use disorders, and other related issues.
My professional journey began with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Illinois State University, where I worked as a Registered Behavior Technician, helping children and adolescents with autism and behavioral challenges using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). While earning my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University, I gained valuable experience working with adolescents facing mental health and substance use challenges. These experiences shaped my dedication to fostering resilience and connection in my work with clients.
